Crossroads 6th Annual Charity Golf Outing will return to Quail Hollow on Aug.16th
For the sixth consecutive year, the Crossroads Charity Golf Outing will return to Quail Hollow Country Club on Monday, Aug. 16, 2010. Proceeds will benefit severely emotionally disturbed children in Lake County.
The event is a four-person scramble starting at 1 p.m. on a course designed by golf legends Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and home to the 2008-2010 Ohio Open. Quail Hollow is located at I-90 and S.R. 44 in Concord, Ohio. Registration and practice begin at 11 a.m.
The day includes 18 holes of golf on one of the finest courses in Ohio, putting and driving contests, box lunch, dinner in the Quail Clubhouse and a Chinese auction. Entry fees are $125 per person and space is limited. The 2009 event was a near sellout.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available.

Crossroads 5th Annual Charity Golf Outing is a huge success
More than 130 golfers turned out for the Crossroads 5th Annual Charity Golf Outing at Quail Hollow Country Club on Monday, August 10th.
This year's outing was played under sometimes threatening skies on the Weiskopf/Morrish course. With our dedicated Golf Committee and volunteers, we had by far our most successful golf outing ever. More than 131 golfers took part and 44 sponsors contributed $14,250. That includes 12 new sponsors who were not represented last year. In addition, we received $750 from three patrons and 44 gifts and prizes valued at more than $10,000.
This year the event was held at the new Quail Hollow clubhouse, which was a major upgrade from the tent used in previous years. Also, with the putting green located right off the deck, we were able to generate more money from the putting contest than in years past. The food was also a dramatic upgrade and was at a lower cost than last year.
Given the depressed economy, the event was a major success. Special thanks to our volunteers and sponsors:
