Crossroads has a variety of opportunities for you to help children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional, behavioral and substance abuse problems. Your gift, large or small, is important to us.

There are a wide variety of giving options available. You may support the mission of Crossroads by making an unrestricted gift, or you can make a gift that is designated for the specific program or purpose of your choosing. You may also make a memorial gift in memory of a loved one, or a tribute gift to honor a friend or relative.

Crossroads also has a planned giving program which allows you to leave a lasting legacy.

To find out more about how you can support Crossroads, or to discuss specific giving options, contact Ed Mayer, Director of Development at (440) 255-1700, or via e-mail to emayer@crossroads-lake.org.

Annual Fund:

The Annual Fund supports the general operations of Crossroads. These funds help us with the day-to-day costs associated with running the agency. These funds are needed to help us continue our important mission of helping children and families. If your company matches gifts, be sure to contact your Human Resource Department for the matching gift form. By matching your donation, you can double the impact of your gift!

Planned Gifts:

Making a planned gift allows you to create a lasting legacy for you or a loved one. A planned gift can be as simple as making a bequest in your will. There are also a wide variety of other planned-giving options, including annuities and trusts, that can be tailored to your individual financial-planning and estate-planning needs. Planned gifts can have significant tax advantages.

If you would like to include Crossroads in your will or estate plans, you can designate a fixed amount or a percentage. A life-income gift will provide you with income for the remainder of your life. You can also name Crossroads as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.

Crossroads staff can help you learn more about the various planned giving options available. We also recommend that you contact your attorney or financial advisor.

For more information about making a planned gift to Crossroads, please contact Ed Mayer, Director of Development, at (440) 255-1700 or emayer@crossroads-lake.org

Crossroads Charity Golf Outing to Return to Quail Hollow on Aug. 16

For the sixth consecutive year, the Crossroads Charity Golf Outing will return to Quail Hollow Country Club on Monday, Aug. 16, 2010. Proceeds will benefit severely emotionally disturbed children in Lake County.

The event is a four-person scramble starting at 1 p.m. on a course designed by golf legends Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and home to the 2008-2010 Ohio Open. Quail Hollow is located at I-90 and S.R. 44 in Concord, Ohio. Registration and practice begin at 11 a.m.

The day includes 18 holes of golf on one of the finest courses in Ohio, putting and driving contests, box lunch, dinner in the Quail Clubhouse and a Chinese auction. Entry fees are $125 per person and space is limited. The 2009 event was a near sellout.

A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available.

To make your reservation, or for more information, contact Ed Mayer at (440) 255-1700, or via e-mail at golf@crossroads-lake.org

The Phantom to Perform Benefit on April 10, 2010

“Crossroads Carousel Cabaret Featuring Franc D’Ambrosio” will be held at the Quail Hollow Resort in Concord.  D’Ambrosio is known as the Phantom’s “Iron Man of the Mask.” He recently relinquished his decade long held title of “World’s Longest Running Phantom.”

D’Ambrosio will perform the cabaret version of "Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway,” an array of Broadway classics including songs from The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and many more Broadway favorites. The show weaves funny, warm hearted stories of growing up in the Bronx, how he was cast in Phantom and in Godfather III as the opera-singing Corleone son.  D’Ambrosio will also be available at a post-event reception to autograph his latest CD.

The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner in the Grand Ballroom. The concert will feature intimate staging with D’Ambrosio on stage with piano accompaniment.

A small number of gift certificates are available for the holidays. Tickets are $125 per person. VIP tickets, at $150 per person, will also include a post-concert reception where guests will have an opportunity to meet the star up close and personal.

For overnight guests, Quail Hollow Resort is offering a special room rate of $99 for those attending the event. Please contact Heather Gortz at (440) 350-3506.
