| Services are funded from a variety of sources including:
All Programs are wholistic, developmental and infant/early chilhood mental health based. Staff are trained and experienced service providers in this best practice approach to working with young children and their families.
Programs Include: Early Head Start: Providing weekly home visits and interactive playgroups. Focused on supporting healthy attachment, development, education, health, nutrition and additional mental health services. These services are provided for pregnant women, expectant fathers, infants and toddlers to age three at or below 100% of the poverty guidelines Early Head Start/Child Welfare Services Initiative: A strong partnership and collaborative service with the Lake County Department of Job and Family Services; intensive home-based interventions to infants and toddlers in foster care or protective supervision. Parent Guidance Program: Six to twelve sessions for parents of infants, toddlers and young children, providing focused guidance based on identified needs. Service can take place in the home or at the Early Childhood Center. Behavioral Solutions for Young Children: Consultation to over 40 day care centers and 8 in-home providers; assistance in assessment, intervention and referral for families and care providers of children referred with problematic behavior. Lake-Geauga United Head Start: Mental health screening, assessment and follow-up intervention for three sites in Lake and Geauga counties. Red Raider Preschool: Mental health screening, assessment and follow-up intervention. Parent Time Out Respite Program: Adjunct to existing services for parents with infants and children up to age three. Groups: Specialized menu of training to service providers for young children Incredible Years: 10 week parenting series for parents of young children with both parent and child components. Playgroups: Weekly interactive infant/toddler and parents, designed to support healthy development: social, emotional, physical, cognitive and language. Parent Education: Educational programs focused on the needs of young children and their families.
